Atlas Copco announced in January 2017 that the Group would be split into two companies in 2018: Atlas Copco, focused on industrial clients, and Epiroc, focused on mining, civil engineering and natural resources. Epiroc, still part of the Atlas Copco Group, is ready to operate with its own name and logo.
