On December the 7th, students from IES Mig Món, who study the Excavation and Drillings Training course intermediate level (CFGM) visited HIMESA facilities.
This field trip allowed them to learn about how the company works. HIMESA is a company dedicated to mechanical activities, maintenance and repair of machinery, both preventive and corrective, with more than a century of history. HIMESA has been specialised in heavy machinery for underground and open-cast mining, public works, ports and waste disposal sites, among many others.
During this visit, the students were involved in one of the current company’s project: the transformation from diesel fuel to electrical machinery. To sum up, the students witnessed the most applicative part of the mining progress.
